The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) & Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is designed for people who work in childcare and especially those working with large number of children.
The course is based on the HSE training standard for delivery of First Aid at Work courses for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Aim of Course
The aim of the course is to provide learners with skills and knowledge to deal with a wide range of emergency first aid situations in both Adults and Children. Learners should also, through practical demonstrations show safe, effective and correct administration of first aid in emergency situations and understand the role of a first aider.
All students, upon completion will receive 1 certificate with both courses.

This is a 2 day Paediatric First Aid course which enables childcarers to deal with first aid emergencies affecting infants and children in their care.
