Paediatric First Aid 2 Days: 1 day Online & 1 day Face-2-Face

Paediatric training course will enable childcarers to deal with first aid emergencies affecting infants and children in their care.

This two-day course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted. In order to obtain this qualification, you must attend both days.

It will be of particular interest to teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care.

Aim of Course

The aim of the course is to provide learners with skills and knowledge to deal with a wide range of emergency first aid situations. Learners should also, through practical demonstrations show safe, effective and correct administration of first aid in emergency situations and understand the role of a first aider. Also provide learners a set of skills in medical circumstances requiring calm and precise action.

Assessment Method

Practical Assessments throughout course. End test questions.

Course Duration

12 Hours ( 2 Days ) • This is a blended course where 1 Day is Online Study and 1 day is Face-to-Face Learning.

This 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is designed for people who have a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid when dealing with emergency incidents.

This is a 2 day Paediatric First Aid course which enables childcarers to deal with first aid emergencies affecting infants and children in their care.
