First Aid At Work (FAW) LEVEL 3

The First Aid at Work (FAW) course is based on the HSE training standard for delivery of First Aid at Work courses for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Aim of Course

The aim of the course is to provide learners with skills and knowledge to deal with a wide range of emergency first aid situations. Learners should also, through practical demonstrations show safe, effective and correct administration of first aid in emergency situations and understand the role of a first aider. Also provide learners a set of skills in medical circumstances requiring calm and precise action.

18 Hours ( 3 Days ) • This is a blended course consisting of Online Study and Face-to-Face Learning.

This 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is designed for people who have a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid when dealing with emergency incidents.

This is a 2 day Paediatric First Aid course which enables childcarers to deal with first aid emergencies affecting infants and children in their care.

The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) & Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is designed for people who work in childcare and especially those working with large number of children.
